Ore., Aug. 9. fi George Allen Tyson, 92. one of the three men who dlsoovered the "Lucky Boy" mine in the Blue river district up the Mc Kenzle. died here yesterdrty. He boasted that in more than 40 years close association with minors up and down the coast and in Alaska, he never had taken a drink of liquor. Dyson, member of the Odd Fellows lodge for more than 70 years, was born In England. In 1874 hie family came to Oregon. He edited a small paper In Brownsville for a time, and became postmaster of the town. In 1897 he went to Alaska and returned the next year to prospect In Grant and Baker counties.
