State Capitol Urged
PORTLAND, Ore,, Aug. 3. (AP
City Commissioner O. R. Bean to
day announced receipt of a letter
from the Oregon building congress
urging that the grounds of the new
state capttol nt Snlem be adequate.
The recommendation, in line with
the stand of the Oregon Institute
of Architects, stated It would be an
Irreparable mistake" to erect the
statchouse on a small tract of land.
The congress recommended a 20
acre site.

was called as stated supply for one
