Kenneth Muse and Kenneth Jones went to Klamath Falls Monday. Mr. Muse remained to work in the potato Mr. and Mrs. Harry Overbeck and little daughter Harriet went to Marshfield to spend the 4th, They plan to go on to Ohio to visit Mr. Overbeck's people. Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Bowman and family came over from Merrill, Ore., and with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Wright, spent the 4th at Ash land. Guests at the Webb home on the 4th were Mrs. Mary Strickland and daughter Elva. also Miss Oaye Webb of Medford. Mr. and Mrs. John Anderson and children Ida, Edith and Victor spent the 4th at Evrrshady Auto camp. Vic tor Is able to be about on crutches now. Leslie Davis and family spent July 4th with his parents on Kane creek. Mr. and Mrs, Wm. lennlnger and Vlolnbel Morrow went to Fort Jones, Caltf. for the 4th. Mr. and Mrs. Rosco Owens cele brated the 4th at Ashland. Mr. and Mrs. John Tharp and children. Mrs. Ella Abbott, last week Charles Cowen, school Janitor, spent several days recently leveling, spad ing and seeding the school :awn. He hopes to have a nice green lawn by the next school term. Mrs. Fred Ooddard who has been up Wagner Gap with Dr. Goddard since her return from visiting her sister in San Francisco, returned to her home here on Wagner creek, June 20. Mrs. Holmes of Wagner Creek has accepted employment in the What Not store at Medlord. Mrs. Higglns entertained the ladies of the Public Health unit. June 26. James Garvin is making an enjoy able visit with his many friends on Wagner creek. He plans on returning to his home In Los Angeles, July fi.
