Snow is still more than five feet

To the Editor:
Tn regard to the article, published
in your paper of June 4 concerning
myself and the final dismissal ot
, the indictment against me. I see no
good purpose served by the star,
ment. "The buggy whipping grew
! out of the turmoil incited by agt
! tatora Banks and Fehl. both now
1 serving prison terms." It seems to
j ma this is unfair to me and not ac
! cording to the facts. The whipping ;
j Incident had nothing to do with the
Banks-Fehl agitstlon. but was purely
a personal affair between me and
1 Mr. Hall, the editor of the Jackson

Fleas Unchanged
Throughout Ages
PALMNTCKEN. Germany (AP)
For about 6.000.000 years, say emi
nent German naturalists, the flea
has not changed In form.
They camo to this conclusion after
studying amber found In East Prus
sia, in which fleas were embedded.
Tlie age of the amber was set at
A .000.000 years. The flea is thought
to be the only creature extant in
which nature has not made some
change In that long period.
