Roer Kayser of Grants Pass, who
recently gave an artistic and hucccsr
ful violin recital In that city, will
be heard In Medford Tuesday even
ing, June 18. at the Baldwin Piano
Shoppe. Roper was first heard In
Medford when he waa talented
child of seven. Ills many friends will
doubtless be Interested In hearing a
program that will show his accom
plishment. He has recently returned
from Chicago, where he has studied
with master teachers, and his reper
toire Is extensive and varied.
His accompanist, who Is also his
coach, will be Harold Anderson, a
pianist of recognized professional

her time. Friday, May 24, was the

a picnic luncheon at the beautiful
Ashland pnrk In honor of Mrs. Rob
nett, who is still n member of the
club. Mrs. Alex Oleson wns also an

land last Sunday.

Scheduled Monday
The fifth of a series of spring re
citals will be given by students from
the Knight-Yeoman studios Monday
evening, June 3. at the Baldwin
Shoppe at 8 o'clock. Twenty-three
students of voice, violin and piano
will be presented, piano presentations
being largely ensemble work.

District convention of R. N. of A.,

forth by the drill captain and team

past, to make possible the participa
tion In the convention.

Medford Friends
George Neuner, who made the ad
dress to the class of 1035 of the
Medford high school Friday night,
was accompanied to Medford by Mrs.
Nepner. They left Saturday after
noon by auto for Roseburg, where
they will spend Sunday on their
ranch with relatives.
Mr. and Mrs. Neuner have a host
of friends In Medford and are always
glad to visit them and southern Ore
gon. Mr. and Mrs. Neuner and Mr. and
Mrs. 8. 8. Smith were breakfast
guests of A. 8. Rosenbaum at the
Hotel Medford Saturday morning.

9:45, two clever young pianists. Bill
Lonlgan and Jim Linn, both pupils
of Rosa Blackmore Wlllett. have
been invited to appear at assembly
before the faculty and student body
at the Southern Oregon Normal
school, Ashland.
As young boy musicians are scarce
in southern Oregon a very hearty
welcome Is assured them, as Mrs.
Wlllett has often been resquested
by the factulty to send some of her
