(UP) The Brit ish government haa answered Adolf Hitler's reaffirmation of his re-armament program by officially proclaim ing that Britain's air forca will be tripled in two years. A double barreled campaign for air power was fired in both houses of parliament. The cabinet met first and apparently approved this blunt pro cedure. Us spokesmen lost no time in making clear the British isles In tended to Insure their security with an air rorce second to none. Mhe Marquess of Londonderry, air secretary, carried the battle to the lords for an Increased air force pro gram, asserting that by March SI, 1937, Britain would have 1500 first line warships exclusive of her naval fighting machines. "We are nearly trebling ouh home air strength," Lord Londonderry said. Londonderry frankly asserted that Germany's capacity to multiply her aircraft factories' output In a abort time "is a matter of the gravest con cern."
