Boys, Girls Club
Concludes Study
The boys and girls' ''World Club"
of the Southern Methodist church,
under supervision of Mrs. Frank
Roberta, completed their quarter's
study of Japanese children with a
program and the presentation of the
Japanese international good-will flag
of the "Kol-Noborl." a huge highly
colored carp fish, at the church
Thursday evening. Some thirty-five
children were present as were also
a grodly number of adults.
The candle lighting service and
reception of new members was very
Impressive. Their large, beautiful,
friendly doll, with her lovely ward
robe, was on exhibit before starting
on her long voyage to Japan next
Monday.
With a candy pulling and social
time In the basement of the church
the club adjourned, feeling that they
had completed a good quarter's work
with a friendliest attitude and a
better understanding towards world
children, which may go far in solv
ing the world peace problem.
