WILSON Associated Tress Foreign (Staff LONDON, April 17. fAP) Morgan Jones, labor party member of par liament, to-d the house of commons today that Great Britain's advocacy of "financial purity" in world af fairs was inconsistent with her record In the question of war debts owed the United States. During a debate on the govern ment budget, presented to the house yesterday, Jones stated he had no ticed Neville Chamberlain, chancellor of the exchequer, had failed to men tion the debts question. "I understand," said Jones, "that this government is against unilateral action regarding International agree ments, but here Is unilateral action, and unilateral action If not changed, subsequently does amount to repu diation." Pointing out the attention that Great Britain pays to its nationals' interest In South America, the a- borlte said, "that la ail right, but you can't repudiate our obligations to America and ask that other peo ple should not be excused from theirs." Jones explained he personally pre ferred cancellation of the war debts by agreement, but he twitted the government benches with this final remark : "I put a proposition to the sup porters opposite that If they reiterate the cry that Great Britain now is on the road to recovery, they should not overlook the fact that the cry may r-ijo in America, and an answering cry may come back, 'what about the debt you owe to us?'" Opposirion lder charged the gov ernment was balancing its budget through failure to pay the war debt owed the United States. K.F. WILL PRESENT PLAY AT SONS APRIL 20 The Little Theatre guild of Klam ath Falls, having enjoyed unprece dented success during the current season in that city will cross the mountains for a production of "A Murder Has Been Arranged," in Ash land April 20. Arrangements for the play have made by the Southern Oregon Nor- Why You Should Never Cut a Corn If you are troubled with corns or callouses, do not run the risk of blood poison by paring them. Statis tics show that many Infections have occurred from this seemingly inno cent practice of paring corns. Simply go to your druggist and get a few cents worth of Ice-Mint, rub a little on any painful corn or cal lous. Immediately the pain will dts- appear and In a short time the corn or callous wilt loosen and lift olf easily with the flayers root and alt leaving the surrounding skin In a healthy normal condition. This, together with the fact that Ico-MInt overcomes such affections as sore, tired, achlnir. puffed or burn ing feet and makes them cool, ea-j end comfortable, is probably respon sible for the hearty endorsement giv en It by dniRrtlsts. To rid one feet of every hard corn, soft corn, corn between the toes or painful callouses In such a pleasant and aafe way, makes It seem the helflht of folly for anyone to pare a corn and people are warned to stop 1 it. mal school through Angus L. Bow mer. drama director. The play wilt first be given Tuesday night in Klamath Falls and will then be brought to Ashland for the Saturday performance. A rehearsal will be held in the afternoon on the stage of the Southern Oregon Normal and the players will be ready for a Jack son county audience when the cur tain rises at 6:30. In exchange, about the middle of May, the cast of "The Merchant uf Venice" from the drama department of SONS, together with stage crew, prop crew, business crew and Direc tor Buwiner, will present the great Shakespearean diuiua at a Klamath Falls downtown theatre. The plot of "A Murder Has Been Arranged," as the name Implies, Is filled with thrills, terror and appre hension. There are many comedy scenes, however, and a budding love affair draws sympathetic interest In a perfectly rounded drama of origin al and Ingenious construction. Cast of the play has been cbocn wltb great care from among the out standing talent of the Little Theatre Guild, several of whom starred at some time In the SONS drama de partment. All of them have bad many years experience In amateur acting and are classed on a par with professionals by the theatre-going public of Klamath Falls, Oregon Weather Fair tonight and Thursday but be coming unsettled with rain west por tion; slightly warmer tonight but with frost Thursday morning south and east portions; fresh southerly wind off the coast Increasing Thursday.
