Chandlee, who were found alive and well by a searching party Tuesday morning, after It was feared they had perished in bllzrards that raged around Buck lake, where they own an, extensive muskrat farm, are going back to the snug cabin where they were snow bound for a month. They will leave for the mountains Saturday, Dr. Chandlee aald today In his room at Hotel Jackson, taking with them three trappers and two packers who will carry a quarter-ton of provisions over the 16 -mile trail to the lake. Dr. and Mrs. Chandlee and the trappers will stay at the lake about a month, to trap musk rats on their 2200 -acre ranch, which they have run for the past five years. (AP) The AAA today agreed to make full benefit payments to farmers in drought areas who plant no wheat because of adverse ' weather condi tions. In a previous sxep to meet drought conditions, the administration an nounced that SDrlnc wheat farmers might plant tip to 165 per cent of their base acreage Instead of the maximum of 90 per cent. Wheat adjustment contracts con tain a provision requiring farmers to plant a minimum of 54 per cent of their base acreage and a maxi mum of 90 per cent. The ruling today by Secretary Wal lace waives the minimum require ment where there Is evidence that planting of wheat would be a waste of seed because of drought conditions.
