Backwards Party Is Comical Event Golden Links Bible class of the Medford Baptist church met at the country home of Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Whillork on the old Central Point road Monday evening. April 1, for an it",,'" 1 y wmv" lw "n or a backwards" party, The guests were required to wear their clothing backwards or pay a fine. When the members arrived their cars were parked In the back yard and they were expected to go in by the back door, but they were met at the door by some of the com ml ee in charge and were told to go around to the front door. Upon reachtng the front entrance they noticed a "wet paint" sign and were directed to the side door. Inside, It was discovered by some member of the committee that one of the guests. Don Piatt, had failed to put his clothes on backwards. He was kidnaped and "taken for a ride," as his wife failed to pay his wine. After much laughing and exclaim ing over the backwards costumes, the guests were served refreshments. Many Interesting and laugh pro voking games were played. Mr. Whil lork is Interested In cows and Is making a study of the habits of his "critters." so he decided to try an experiment on his guests for the ben efit of his cows. The guests were re quired to chew milk bottles made out of paraffins to see If they could chew as long as a cow can chew her cud. To make a long story short, the guests were still nursing their jaws the next day. After a backwards spelling bee tlie guests departed, all voting a grand time. Three Hundred Served At Neighbors' Dinner Royal Neighbors of Mistletoe camp No. 4713 gave a chicken noodle dinner at the K. P. hall Thursday.
