Olson for an "eco nomic revolution" were heard toaay while several hundred farm aid ad vocates marched back to their homes, Governor Olson was called a "prophet" and the "next president of the United States" by Milo Reno of Des Moines, president of the Na tional Farmers' Holiday association. whose Minnesota branch sponsored a trek by Minnesota farmers to the state house to demand legislative re lief for agriculture. Addressing the farm delegation the governor yesterday urged an "eco nomic revolution" and praised the militant farm movement" in Min nesota aa one that "is not talking about the tariff on cocoanut oil, but about legislation," which prompted Reno to criticize "big business," the AAA and President Roosevelt. "If president Roosevelt hsd kept his pledge to the people." asserted Reno, "we would have been out of this trouble in two weeks.' The AAA? It has no more chance to succeed than did Herbert Hoover's farm beard. The AAA has gone up salt creek to keep company with the politicians who were put in charge of the farm board." Ore., for the past three and ona-half years, passed away at the family residence at 3 30 p. m.. Wed nesday, after a short illness. Mr. Stead was born at Waterloo, Towa. August 24. 1874. He spent his early life in Towa, and also gained his early education there, later as suming a position with hla father. William Stead, In the contracting business and also brick -making. Mr. Stead was an excellent brick maker. He was united In marriage to Miss Julia Carper at Waterloo, Iowa, in Observations Taken at ft A. He was again united In marriage at Grants Pass, to Martha Seaman. In 1033. They have lived at Rogue River since their marriage. He leaves, besides his widow, one son. Wayne S. Stesd of Medford, and one brother, A. W. Stead of Tonasket. Wash.; two nieoee and one nephew and four grandchildren. Funeral services, in charge of the Perl Funeral Home, will be announced later.
