Mrs. Flora Miller Is iufferlng from a badly Infected leg. Frank Knutzen of Thompson creek was a dinner guest Tuesday at tho C W. Roberts home. He and his fam ily have Just returned from a visit since June in New York, where they were visiting Mrs. Kmttzen's parents. Miss Carter, high school teacher, and Miss Suva, primary teacher, are boarding at the Joe Varner home. Mr. and Mrs. Evan Moon and family have moved to Grants Pass eo their children may attend the Ad vent 1st school. M. Manuel expects to go south soon to pick cotton. They reported having had a delightful time. All have returned home. Mr. and Mrs. Watson are hunting a few days, and will then return to their home here for the winter. Injuring her baok. ! and la under the care of a doctor. Miss Adams Is staying with her. September 16. Guy Bates, who was injured month ago in an auto wreck, has recovered and returned to hi work at tho Foots Creek dredge. Mrs. McVay Is having a new roof put on her dwelling. Miss Wiley Is a niece of James Wiley and a cousin of Mrs. Carter. Mr. and Mrs. Cardln and family have moved from the Horton ranch Into town and Mr. and Mr. Stubble field have moved to the Horton ranch. Mrs. W. R. Johnston. Who ha been at the Orant Pas hospital for some time receiving medical care, 1$ Im proving and will soon be abl to re turn home.
