The Women's Missionary Federation
of Medford will meet at the Baptist
church Friday, September 38. at 3
o'clock. Business of Importance will
be discussed and tha new constitu

vacancy caused by the moving to Port
land of Mrs. LsRoat, former vice
president. The ladles of the Missionary so

Members of the Wednesday Study
club, with Miss Woolsey as their truest,
met on September 10 at Dur'lghello'a
on tha old Pacific highway for the
flrat meeting of the club year. Lunch
eon waa aerved at 1:30 o'clock, after
which a ahort business session was
called by the president, Mrs. B. O.
Harding.
The Year Book, with a varied pro
gram on "These Changing Tlmea"
were distributed, and the afternoon
waa spent In social reunion after the
summer holidays. The first program
will be given In the club rooms on
Wednesday. October 3, by Mrs. Helen
Snedicor. Mrs. J. H, Cochran and Mrs.
W. J. Warner.

W. J. Howell with a farewell party.
The evening waa spent very enjoy
ably with games, songs, and refresh

people, presented Rev. Howell with
a gift. Dolpn told the Howells how
sorry the young people were to see
them go, and thanked them for tha
great spiritual help they had been
