The big parade In the morning fea tured the school children In ooatumea, many of them with tholr pets, floats from nearly all the business houses and many Individuals who were dr eas ed to represent a great variety of characters. It la estimated that more than 1000 people passed through the city hall to view the display Saturday, and at least 700 were served at the free sal mon bake and barbecue that evening, which was the big feature of the day, The basket lunch at noon drew quit a crowd who spent several hours vlstltlng on the city hall grounds. The morning kl He rib a 11 gams In which the Oold Hill high school won from Rogue River by the score of 8 A, as well as the town team-Medford Rogues gams in the after noon, drew a large crowd of baseball fans to the ground. Sports for all were enjoyed for several hours In the afternoon, with prizes of cake. Ice cream, candy and meals going to the winners. Dance Knda Day. The big dance In the evening drew a large crowd from all points of the valley and topped the day's enter tainment off in grand fashion. Due to the success of the fair. It Is the general opinion that everyone should start right now planning for another auch event next year. Sev eral changes will probably be made, In the hope of Improving the affair, and the committee in charge will be glad to hear from individuals and or ganisations as to any beneficial sug gestions. The main thing is that lo cal people maintain the fine interest that they have shown this year. PICTURE INDUSTRY TO AID HOME REPAIR PLAN A. H.
