Sept. 10. (AP) With only resident engineers and workmen to celebrate, the first con crete was poured yesterday Into the foundations of the Bonneville dam power house. A total of 139 oublo yards was poured Into pier eight on the central power plant of the 33.4S0.OOO pro ject. More than 1500 cubic yards will eventually be poured on the same pier, to form a foundation In the hues natural hole 7ft feet below sen level, on which will be erected but-f tresses for the power house. Pier eight Is being laid for a por tion of the power house which will not be completed under present plans. The pier will be covered over and uncovered again only when additions to the power house become necessary at some future time.
