Shirley Temple Heads Cast New Craterian rtlm A grand acting combination, a thrilling fast-paced imaginatively di rected story, and a human and ap pealing theme, are the elements that make "Now and Forever," now at the Craterlan theater, and that make the picture thoroughly delightful and en tertaining. I Romantic Gary Cooper, Carols Lom bard and lovable 8hlrley Temple are the three who play out this tale of a reckless young International crook, his light of lovo, and the child who changes the whole course of their gay lives. It manages to make the becurled and bright-eyed Shirley even more irreslstable than aha was In "Little Miss Marker." tho picture that made her he greatest child sensation. One of the highlights of the new film Is the scene where she sings "The Grass hopper end the Prog", hopping about to show how the big, bad froggle goes. Dramatic Picture Coming To Rialto The 1934 gold rush Is on I Here In southern Oregon, particu larly about Jacksonville, picturesque mining camps, abandoned for years, are taking on all the appearance of days of '40. Ghost towns of the west are springing to renewed life as men and women alike scour the hills for new velna of the precloua ore. Abin donvd shafts are being opened. Bxist ness Is booming. Mine stocks are soar ing. And all because of the feverish de mand for Rold due to tho govern ment's arbitrary fixing of Its mone tary value. This la the dramatic theme of "Wild Gold." featuring John Boles. Claire Trevor, Harry Green and Monroe Owsley, coming tomorrow to the Rial to thenter for a two day run. It's a new gold rush to an old ghost town. In '49 It was a roaring Inferno of men. greed, drama and Bin. Today there's i l"T:.:.?b,fc?:;-T..".;, .
