PORTLAND, July 38 (AP) Con tinuing their drive against com munists, police raided a meeting of about 150 persona near the water front here last night and held four men for Investigation. Five others were questioned and released. The raiding officers satd much radi cal literature and papers and about ten banners were confiacated. One of the men held was Dirk D Jonge, 43, one-time communist can didate for mayor of Portland. He waa arrested last week on a criminal syndicalism charge and had been in trouble before during the current waterfront strike. Police said De Jonge was one of the speakers at last night's meeting. He was accused of advocating, organ ising and teaching criminal syndi calism, and his bond waa set at $5000. Two other speakers, Don Cluster, 20, a shlngler. also nrrest-d a week ago. and Edward R.
