Maple Drive. Guard Planes Here Two National Guard planes, on aerial photography assignments, stopped at the Medford municipal airport Monday to be aerv lced. Both were Douglas ships, from the port at Spokane. One waa en route south, and the other waa re turning to the home field. Has Two Special Cars The South ern Pacific will have two special cars on the northbound train thla evening to accommodate the Collpltta' tour, a party from the east, which will get on the train at Grants Pass tonight, for Portland, having arrived from the East by way of the Redwood highway. Inspector Coming Ward McReyn olds, examiner of operators and chauf feurs, will be in Medford Friday and Saturday, July 27 and 28, at the city hall.
