Alender fer returned by train yesterday morn ing from Minneapolis, where he had attended a Shrine convention, being away from Medford for a month. Visiting Here Mr. and Mrs. S. W. Werti of Anderson, Calif., arrived here by train yesterday and will spend most of the summer visiting with their sons, Lester, of Climax, and Ves ter, of Ruch. Called to Grand Junction Mrs. Oliver Rogers left by train Friday evening for Grand Junction, Colo., where she had been called by the death of her mother. Mrs. L. L. Evans. t Accident Reported An accident was reported Friday at the city police station by Walter Inch, 803 Catherine street, and Mrs. Michael Beck, 824 South Grape whose car pulled out from the curb, hit the Inch auto and knocked It into a parked car owned by George Porter. Three Injured Gladys Ray, Helen Wilkinson and Mamie Perry, all of Eagle Point, received bruises In an accident reported at the cltj police station yesterday which occurred July 8 on the Evans creek road. The report hows that the car In which thoy were riding, driven by Gladys Rsy, collided on a narrow curve with n auto driven by Molford Walton, of Eagle Point, whose car had defective brakes. Dahlln of Big Bar, Calif., was a visitor In Medford yesterday having formerly been with the CCO district headquarters here. Clement Visits Luclsn Clement, who Is employed at the Standard Oil station at Government camp, Is a visitor In this city, having arrived Thursday evening. He will return to Government camp today.
