Horsoff, character ized by Howard Poffenbarger. Charles plana to present a flowery speech to Mr. Horsoff asking for a raise. He practices on Fanny, the colored scrub woman, played by Jan ette Trill, who thinks Charles la a very smart man. After he receives his wage (In Imagination) he pro ceeds to propose (also In his Imagina tion) to Miss Meadows, the stenogra pher, played by Helen Power, and is In the middle of his proposal when Mr. Horsoff walks In, Charles pre tends he Is looking for something, then gets up and begins his elabor ate speech. How It la received by J. J. Horsoff will be seen next Friday evening. After Mlsa Meadows comes to the of- I flee he begins his proposal. The out come of that Is well, come and find out for yourself. The play promises to be highly en tertaining. Miss Walker, the director has studied play production under Angus L. Bowmer at S. O, N. tj. and she Is producing a fine comedy. "A Weakness for Nurses", which Is to be presented the same evening, Is being directed by Mrs. R. P. Morten sen. "Call It a Day" la being directed by Ross Knotts and Mrs. A, B. Short.
