It has been some seven weeks since
a game has been held at the Fair
grounds due to the erection of a
siage, platform, eto. for the Jublloe
Pageant and roundup, on the playing
field. This left the Rogues without
a field to play or even practice on as
there are no other diamonds avail

tnis period have been played on for
elgn fields with the result that the
team has slipped considerably In the
percentage column.
The Jubilee oommlttee announced

Manager Halght announced the
signing of a new pitcher In the per

with an assortment of fast and slow
curves. He should be a winner In this

would refuse to pitch or play further.
This happened on two occasions. Last
