(AP) Favorable congressional action on the bill to amend the emergency farm mortgage act of 1933 to permit RFC loans to Irrigation districts or ganized since the aot was passed, was predicted today by Senator Pope (D- Idaho) sponsor of the measure. Under the present measure no pro visions were made for districts, or ganized following the act. The damage suit of James T. Kln kade against the sheriffs of Jackson and Klamath counties for alleged false imprisonment. Is scheduled to start Tuesday, June 13. Kinkade Is a resi dent of the Phoenix district. The sheriffs will be represented by the district attorneys of their respective counties anl the plaintiff by Attorney M. O. WiMtlns of this city. The district attorney said today that the grand Jury. Floyd Ross, Cen tral Point, foreman, continued by court order from, the February term, will not be called until cases pending Justify the expense. Only two cases are pending for grand Jury action May Murray and E. L. Fitch charged with criminal libel for the distribution of slanderous and malicious literature, attacking the Integrity of the courts and the mo tives of enforcement agencies.
