LAMPORT'S TRIM
,5-1
By Harold Grove.
In a- heart-breaking contest, the
Henderon'i All -Stars, winner of the
flrat half of the kitten-ball eked, were
defeated laet night by Lamport's.
5 to 1 on Van Scoyoo field.
Lamport's speed-ball pitcher, Jack
Thomas, proved too much for the All
Stars by fanning twice as many as
got t hit off him.
One boy, who was chasing a right
field fly, waa unable to continue his
chase because of the fence that en
circles the diamond on the right side
of the field. This fence should be
taken down, many think.
Monday evening the Active club
was defeated by Jennings, 8 to 1, and
Campbell's defeated, 7 to 1, by Lamport's.
Tonight The Toggery plays Jen
nings' and Kldd's play the Active club.
