White head, of this city, is at the Sacred Heart hospital, where he will under go an operation tomorrow. Mr. White head Is 87 years old. On Business Visit MJss Geraldtne Anderson, of the credit department of the Grants Pass Cinderella Shop, was in Medford Thursday to call on the local Cinderella store. Hare Scarlet Fever Camp Apple gate, CCC, Is under a thirty day quar antine for scarlet fever, Melvin Jack of Beaverton, Ore., being ill. Jack Joined the company April 17. - Goes to San Francisco Dr. John M. Tutt, who presented the Christian Science lecture at the Holly theatre Thursday evening, left on the Shasta Friday for San Francisco. Report Is Filed An acident report was filed with city police on Satur day concerning a collision at the cor ner of Main and Oakdale streets at 7:40 p. m., Friday. Frank Vance of 1502 Pleasant Ave., Klamath Falls, was said to be the driver of the other au tomobile. Culbertson Returns City Airport Superintendent Thomas Culbertson hea returned to Medford after having spent the past week in Portland, con ferring with W. R. Matncy appeared in the Thursday Issue of the Mall Tribune, when it should have read Jack Matney, who was charged with Issuing worthless checks. Mr. Taylor Home Mrs. Tom Tay lor, who has been a guest of Mrs. R. L. Wyant of Eagle Point for the past few days, returned home to Medford Friday. She was a visitor at the civic improvement club while there. Mr. Grey Here Lawrence Grey of the American Chain company of San Francisco Is in Medford on a short business trip, and also to visit his parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. O. Mrs. Hartzell Visitor Mrs. James Hartzell of Seattle left Saturday morn ing for her home In the north, having spent several days here visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Herring, and brother Dan Herring of 28 Ross Court. Automobiles Collide Dallas L. Grove of 228 Iowa street and F. F. Burk of Medford placed accident re ports on file with the city police on the collision Friday evening at six o'clock, at the corner of Fourth and Holly streets. Child Is Injured Patricia Terrell, age 5, of Carglll court, suffered slight injuries Saturday at 12:20 p. m., when struck by the . automobile of F. w. Sweeney of 1704 West Main St. Wit- nesses listed on the accident report at the city police station were W. O. Cooksey, and Lyle Llndley of Medford and Mrs. C. J. Flndley of Central Point. Collision Reported At 3:30 o'clock yesterday afternoon, the vehicles Lyle Cingcade of Eagle Point and Georpe Oilman of Medford were driving, col lided at the corner of Central and Ninth streets.
