the Roxy theater today. I
Included in the imposing cast are
two famous radio acts. The Pickens !
Sisters and the Beverly Hill Billies !
both have Important sequences In
the musical parts of the story.
The story is centered around two
aspiring song writers, working in a
small New York music company.
Through a. streak of unforseen luck
they sell a song for $300, decide to
go to Hollywood. After losing this
money In a crnp game, they still
have $15 left, and they hitch-hike to
the coast.
They finally get there after cash- j
ing a bogus check a crazy man has
given them. Breaking into a studio, I
they eventually sell themselves and j
really get started on a successful ca- i
reer, until the gorgeous screen
blondes begin paying them atten
tion. Then work and old friends are
completely burled In their terrific
ego.
Their own estimation of their
Importance raises them to terrific
heights only to hurl them to earth
with a crash that resounds through
out, the film city.
But it brings them to their senses
with a climax that ends In a whlrly
glrly, musical finish.
