MoDonald Fined George McDonald of Central Point was fined 5 and costs by Justice of the Peace William R. Coleman yesterday afternoon on a plea of guilty to driving an auto af ter his license had been revoked. The fine and costs were paid. McDonald had made an effort to have hla license re-Instated. Principal Leaves Recommen ded for a teaching fellowship at the university of Oregon, David McDon ald, principal for three years of the Grants Pass high school, was released from his contract by the city school board at a special meeting Monday night and will take up his new duties In Eugene after next week. To fill out the unexpired term, J. F. Swlgart, of the high achool faculty was selected by the school board to McDonald's position, and Sterling Bailey, now in Eugene, was selected to fill out the unexpired term of Swlgart In the high school science department.
