In Jail to day, charged with kidnaping 24 -day- old 'Patricia Luciano. The husband la held on the same charge. Patricia was taken from her east aide home laat Tuesday by a woman who represented herself as a nurse from the home relief bureau. She left with Mrs. Luciano a typewritten note telling of an "Infants' party" at which Patricia was to receive clothing. She promised to return the baby within an hour. When she did not come back, police were noti fied. Yesterday Mrs. Stackhouse's hus band, a CWA worker, called a ne?ro physician to attend his wife. The physician was told the baby was only three days old. He had read of the Luciano kidnaping, became suspicious of the negro's story, and notified po lice. The Luclanos Identified Patricia by scratches on her body. A blanket found in the Stockhouae apartment was Identified by Mrs. Luciano as one In which the baby had been wrapped when taken away. Mrs. Stackhouse at first maintained the baby was her child, but when a blood test was made to determine the parentage of the Infant, she ad mitted part of her story was false.
