Mrs. Durno Gives Tea for Auxiliary The Women's Auxiliary of the Jack. son County Medical society met on Thursday afternoon at the attractive home of Mra. E. R. Durno on Siskiyou Heights. The president, Mrs. Woods, of Ashland, conducted the meeting. Following the usual routine of bual nesa, reporta of the yeor'a work were given by Mrs. Woods, and by Mrs. O. I. Drummend. the secretary and treaaurer. Tha society has had a suc cessful year under the entnualaetlo Icaderehlp of Mrs. Woods, and one of Its members, Mrs. Charles T. Sweeney, la president of th state auxiliary. A paper by Dr. W. H. Heckman waa next on the program and was much enjoyed by all present. A rising vote of thanks was given Dr. Heckman for hia kindness. At the election of offi cers, the following were chosen to conduct the sffalra of the society for the coming year: President, Mrs. R. A. Steams: vice-president, Mrs. Gulls; secretary and treasurer, Mra. Drum mond. Th meeting then adjourned and a social hour was enjoyed by the twenty women present. Mrs. Wilson and Mrs. Drummond presided at the beautifully appointed tea-table in the dining room. The next meeting of the auxiliary will be during the latter part of January at the home of Mrs. Stearns.
