Fen ton, formerly of Tolo, died yesterday at Long Beach, Cal. Funeral services are to be conducted today. Mr. Fen ton. who has been ill for nearly year, left Tolo last April. Merrlam Here H. S. (AP) Iron gates may be used at Salem- high school dances to solve the problem of party crashers and leave-early students. The school board last night re ceived a suggestion from Principal Fred Wolf that such a gate for the gymnasium might remedy the situation.
