Tells Of Read's Love CALLED BY DEATH Mary ET.mtra Cox, wife of True Cox, .pawed away at Woodland, California, on Thursday morning, November 3. STlmlra Gregory waa born at Fort Churchill, Nevada, on August 8, 1869. She came with tier parent to south ern Oregon at the age of three years, pending ner girl-hood In the Rogue Blver valley. She was united In marriage Feb ruary 14, 1888 to Daniel Truet Cox ' and two daughter were born tjo this union. . , She moved, with 'her husband and family, to California about 35 yeara ago, living the greater part of this time at .Winter's, in the Sacramento valley, but she has always thought of Medford as home. Mrs. cox became a member of the Presbyterian ohtirch many years ago and was a fine Christian, character. t She la survived by. her,- husband,. , two daughters, Mrs. Ethel Elliott .of. : Denver, Colorado,' Mlas -Hazel .Cox of Winters, California;' two granddaugh ters, Irene and Dorothy Elliott, of Denver, her mother, Mrs. Louisa Greg ory of Med ford, four elsters, Mrs.' Lil lian Nye, Mrs. Josephine Yashin and Mrs. Tamar Kershaw all of Medford, and Mrs. Jessie Douglas of Eugene, and one brother, Basil Gregory of Eu reka, Calif. The remains will arrive In Medford for burial Saturday morning, accom panied by Mr. Cox. Funeral , services will be conducted at the Conger Fu neral Parlora on West Main street Sunday at 3:80 p. ra., November flth. Interment will be In the I. O. O. F. cemetery at Medford.
