PLYMALE IN News was received here last night of the sudden death In Bakersfleld, Cal., of Dr. David H. Plymale. former well known local resident and mem ber of a prominent southern Oregon pioneer family. Cause of death was not reported In the telegram from Dr. Plymale's son. He 1 survived by his widow and one brother and four sisters, Just one of whom. Mrs. Nick Klme, resides In this. city. His sister-in-law, Mrs. Verna Plymale, who also lives In Med ford, visited at his home In the south this summer. PLANE CARRIER -10 VISIT COAST LONO BEACH,- Cal. (UP) The first vessel to be constructed as an airplane carrier, bearing the historic name of TJ. S. S. Ranger, will come to the Pacific coast early next year. The Ranger la the sixth ship to bear that name since John Paul Jones commanded the original and won his-, torlc battles during the Revolutionary War. The Saratoga, Lexington and Lang ley, other carriers, all were converted from battteahlps.
