(API PH. tlona for rehearlngs In the case of Thomas B. Mannlx against the Port land Telegram and the state against C. A. DeGrace were denied by the Oregon supreme court here today in oral opinions. No comments were made In handing down these opinions. Mannlx won Judgment aialnst the Portland Telegram for 633.500 In suit for libel. The supreme court affirmed the Judgment in a previous opinion. DeGrace, formerly nresldent of the Prudential Savlnga and Loan group, was sentenced to four Teem in th. state penitentiary and fined 81000 on chargea of devising a scheme to de fraud. The suit waa brought against him by the state corporation depart ment. In a previoua opinion the lower court waa affirmed. BIG STEEL DECLARES DIVIDEND OF 50 CTS. NEW YORK, July 35. (API The U. 8.
