Hepler 111 Mrs. Mary Hepler of this city is a patient at the Com munity hospital this week, where she underwent a major operation. Guest of Miss Kerr Mr. and Mrs. Andrew B. Kerr and children of Port land are guests here this week of Mr. Kerr's slater, Miss Margaret Kerr. Hare Tonsils Out James and Joan Elliott, children of Or. and Mrs. B. R. Elliott, underwent operations today at the Community hospital for re moral of their tonsils. John Wall In Hospital John Wall 14, who received Injuries in a fall while Tlsltlng at Olendsle, was re ported in an improved condition at the Sacred Heart hospital yesterday On Fishing Trip Mr. and Mrs. U J. Brown, arrested Tuesday evening on a charge of being drunk in a public place, was released from Jail this morning when he furnished $10 ball. Move to Klflmath Mr. and Mrs. V. L. Goodnight and family have moved to Klamath Falls from Medford. Mr. Goodnight is with the state highway department. Picnic on Rogue Mr. and Mrs. John M. Dodge and son Steven, and daughter Dorothy, were among Med ford people picnicking on Rogue river yesterday. Accidents on Riverside North Riv erside avenue was the scene of a col lision July 3 at 3:30 o'clock between automobiles driven by John Slate of I Kerby and Dr. Brauer of Seattle, pol ice files show. Many Visit Butte Creek The up per reaches of Butte creek were the vacationing spot of many Medford people yesterday. Frank Rogers, who spent the day there, announced this morning. Collide Monday Among the third of July accidents, reported at the ctty police was that of Herman Dayon and Orln R. Adamson of Eagle Point. The collision was at the corner of Central and Eighth streets, about 4:30 o'clock. File Reports Wade J. Roop of Kings Highway and Vern Marshall of South Holly streets collided at the corner of Stewart avenue and Oak dale Monday afternoon at four o' clock, reports on file with city police show. Accident Reported E. A. Dorf of 1119 North Central avenue and Tom Y Culbertson were driving the automo biles which collided yesterday after noon here. According to Dorf's re port, Culbertson's car struck the front and rear fenders of the Dorf auto. Oarlocks Reach Chicane According to word received today by C. E. Gates, Mr. and Mrs. Oarlock and family en- Joyed the Journey to the Chicago fair in their new Ford very much. Oarlock reports making the trip in six days, averaging 400 miles per day and getting an average of 33 Ji miles per gallon. At Lake or Woods Mr. and Mrs. John Moffatt and family were among! the local people who enjoyed the Fourth of July at Lake of the Woods, camping at the resort for several days. Visits Father In South Mrs. H. T. Llndlay returned this morning from San Francisco, where she spent the Fourth of July and preceding week end as gueat of her father. She will resume her position at Mann's De partment store today. She was ac companied south by her daughter, Miss Marie Elcher, who returned with her today on the Shasta.
