Southerners Meet For Picnic Dinner 'At Hamlin's Home The annual picnic of the Dixie club waa held last Sunday at the beautiful summer home of Mr. and Mra. H. O. Hamlin on the Rogue river. Southerners and their friends gath ered there to enjoy a dinner ar ranged in true southern style. After dinner, baseball, ping-pong, and bridge were enjoyed. A large crowd attended and Miss Dot Berry, who has been visiting relativea In Seattle for some time, was welcomed home by the club. Carpenters Leave For Malibu Beach Vacation time Is here, -and Mr. and Mrs. Alfred S. V. Carpenter are among the first to respond to the csll of the beaches. Mrs. Carpenter and daughter Julie, and son Harlow, are leaving Tuesday by motor for Malibu beach, where they will be Joined later by Mr. Carpenter to spend the month of July at the sea shore. Mrs. Bickerstaff Honored at Party Honoring Mrs, Thos, Bickerstaff of Mill Valley, who la a guest here of her mother, Mrs. Anna Mlkache.
