Pomona Grange Pomona Orange met at Central Point Grange hall May 25, with good attendance, and considerable busi ness attended to of Interest to the organisation. Among resolutions to be taken to the State Orange, which opens in Pendleton June 14. Is one which urges severe punishment for the violation of the banking laws, which bring losses to depositors, and consequently much suffering to innocent persona. Another asks for a freer movement of alfalfa hay throughout the county. The lecture hour, in charge of the lecturer, Mrs. Susie Maust, assisted by Mrs. Mable Mack., was lively and entertaining. Games and folk dances were enjoyed and Harry Weagant, of Talent Orange, gave a humorous read ing. It was reported that an Interest ing session of the Jackson county members of the Grange Fire Relief association was held May 25, at the Central Point Grange hall.
