Ralph Dusenberry left Friday for Fresno, Calif., to drive a logging truck for Robert Orlmmet, who has a con tract for nutting In several million feet of logs. He will run his trucka until snow falla. Ralph worked in the same camp two years ago. Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Smith are hav ing a fireplace built In their house which with a front porch added will comolete their modem home. Mrs. H. H. Elhart and aon Billy drove down from Ashland May 1 to spend Mother's day with her mother, Mrs. Eva Newton. Mra. R. A. Dusenberry and son Ar thur and Sylvia Croft, were Crsats Pass visitors Thursday afternoon. A social dance was given at the community hall here Saturday night. Music was furnished by a mixed or chestra, and an enjoyable time had by those attending. Mra. O. I. Dusenberry and son Don ald of Oold Hill, spent Saturday af ternoon with Mrs. S. A. Dusenberry. Miss Mary Adamaon closed her sec ond year of school here Friday with a picnic dinner at noon. Miss Aflsnv on has other plana for next ye.r and It Is understood the school board hired Mra. Cecil Johnson of Oold Hill to teach the enaulng year. Many from here attended the grad uatlng exercises at Oold Hill high school Wednesday. Two local girls.
