PLYMOUTH PUIS OUT NEW MODELS The aggressive campaign of the Plymouth Motor corporation on Jta two new lines of motor cars started here today. The Plymouth corporation has done the unusual by announcing two new motor cars within a week's period, and both cars. It was asserted, are being backed by an advertising and merchandising campaign. Announcement of the new Ply mouths followed the recent statement of Walter P. Chrysler that be felt that present conditions were oppor tune for the Introduction of new products, and that "the manufac turer . . . who offers unusual values and aggressively places his products before the people, will be In & posi tion to realize the greatest sales." He further stated that "It la up to us as manufacturers and It Is up to our dealers to show the public how much good sense there la In buying today. And It's up to buyers to look Into what the dollar will buy today." The new Plymouths are now on dis play here at Dodge, De Soto and Chrysler dealers. The new cars are the De Luxe Plymouth Six of 112 Inch wheelbase, which Is priced f.o.b. from $495 and the standard Plymouth six, 108 -inch wheelbase, priced f.o.b., from (445. The new Standard Plymouth Six Sedan, priced f ob., at $510, Is stated to be the lowest priced six-cylinder four-door sedan on the American mo tor car market. The Plymouth factory Is working full speed on production of both new models. ROGUE RIVER RAMBLERS SPORTSMANS GROUP IS ORGANIZED FOR RIVER A large group of southern Califor nia sportsmen, who come to this val ley each summer for a vacation, have given themselves an Oregon name. It was learned here today, so enthusi astic axe they over fishing In the Rogue. "Rogue River Ramblers club" la the title of their organization, and Sunset-on-the-Rogue Is their vaca tton'ng headquarters. Mr. and Mrs. H. L. Johnson, who operate the re sort Just this aide of Rogue Elk, stated today. In the group looking forward to another summer in southern Oregon, are: Detective Ed Xing of Los An geles, author of many detective stories, Mrs. King, Mr and Mrs. Rich ard King, all of Los Angeles; Mr. aivl Mrs. C. G. Tetters of Long Beach. Mr. and Mrs. G. W. Wadsworth, Holly wood, and Mr. and Mrs. Walter W. Young of Los Angeles. The community hall at Sunset-on-the-Rogue is used by the California colony as a gathering place evenings, where many stories are told by De tective Kinpr and songs and dancing enjoyed. Several members of the group have spent the past nine sum mers on Rogue river and the other club members from three to six. AMBITIOUS TULIP HAS TEN-PETAL BLOSSOM A beautiful red tulip, which be came so ambitious as to flaunt 10 petals, instead of the regulation six, Is on display today at the Chamber of Commerce. It was grown by Mrs. Clyde Eakln of the Eakln Motor com pany, at her home, 35 Ross court. Inveetlgatlors were assured this afternoon that the additional four petals had not been dyed and added to the flower, when they felt their waxy surface.
