games and two of those teams were
eliminated from further play. Gold
Hill, after winning the first encoun
ter, lost the second game to Port
Orford, 11-46, and dropped from the
list of competing teams. Little
Paisley was ttie other aqusd to be
forced out, losing games by over.

Ashland high school baseball team to
Yreka. Cel., tomorrow to tangle with
Yreka' high In the first game of the
season.
Faber has several games lined up
for his club snd, though they are
somewhat tentative, he expresses the
opinion that Ashland high will have
a fairly full scbedule this spring.
Yreka will play a return game at
Ashland April 14 or 15.
Fifteen tossers will make the trip
to the California city. Catohers,
Gearhart and Fowler: pitchers, Hoxle,
Hardy and Green; first base, Harris;
second base, Murphy and Andrews;
third base, Tonner and Kannasto;
