Trail En tension unit met for a special ail- day meeting at the home of Mrs Irma Mushman Thursday to do re lief work. Two comforts were tied and a number of garments made for needy families here. There were 17 ladles present. Next regular meeting will be at Mrs. Francis Ash's In March where they will do more sewing for the Red Cross of Medford. Southern Oregon was given much publicity In the Young People's Sun day School paper Feb. 13. which waa published by the American Sunday School Union at Philadelphia when a letter to the editor from Shelby Southard of Athens, Ala., was pub lished. The writer won a trip to Oregon last summer as first prise in an essay contest and told of the most interesting places he visited, including Medford, Oregon Caves, Crater Lake, and Klamath Falls. He also apoke of tramping through the redwoods and of the beautifully pro portioned Douglas fir. He sent four pictures to the paper of Oregon scenery which were Mt.
