Gaddls Returns Earl C. Gaddls of
this city returned to Medford last
night from a business trip to Sacra
mento, and reported that he made
the trip back In nine hours. The
snow was all cleared irom the high
way from the California line south,
he said, but, not on the Oregon side.

tract with the Safeway Stores for a
series of weekly broadcasts commenc
ing over the National Broadcasting
company network Wednesday evening
February 8th, at 7:30 o'clock.
The stations which will broadcast
the Eddie Peabody programs from
7:30 to 8:00 p. m. Wednesdays, are

- Granted Divorce
Gladys Shelby, in a decree handed
down in circuit court, was granted a
divorce from Alfred B. Shelby. She
was also granted the custody of a
minor child. Property right and
maintenance money settlement were
made out of court, the decree states.

cent hogs came back today on the
wings of a howling snowstorm.
Porkers Jumped 35 cents a hundred
during the forenoon trading when It
was found that few hogs could ar
rive through the snow and cold and
