Rltter Leaves Hospital Forest Ranger Hugh Rltter. who has been confined to the hospital for the past two weeks with pneumonia, was taken home yesterday, where he will remain until able to be out and around. . They held little hope of ever finding a solution. The court ordered the grand Jury to revise their first report, so as to make it "more clear and definite," and to specify from which vault n the courthouse the booze was miss ing. Three people then Sheriff Jennings, Deputy Paul Jennings and Jailer O. W. (Ike) Dunford had ac cess to the vault and knew the com bination. Water Substituted. The grand Jury reported 90 gallons of water, In containers supposed to contain alcohol, and were unable to tell how the "switch" had been made. They alao reported that Jailer Dunford had 10 gallons of alcohol stored In the Jail, and destroyed It without an order of the court. The grand Jury foreman though this as done because he did not know the rules, and was not dishonest. The former sheriff declared he wel comed the fullest Investigation. The grand Jury closed investigation with the recommendation that a system be evolved for a closer tab on the re ceipts and destruction of seized liquor In the future. 4 Wall St. Report Stock gale Averages.
