Rebecca Ann Robinson Moore passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Minnie M. Clark, of Central Pont, Ore., at an early hour Friday morning after an Illness cov ering one and one-half years. She was born at Springfield. Utaft, July 29. 18S7. April 16. 1876, she was united Hn marriage to Andrew E. Moore at San Bernardino, Cal., where they made their home until 1882, In which year t) ey came to eastern Ore iron, and in 1884 removed to Jackson county, having lived here continu ously for 49 years. She was a fine Christian woman, wonderful mother and loving wife, living only for her aged husband and children. They celebrated their 56t,h wedding anniversary last April. Mrs. Moore leaves her husband and six children, one daughter., Mrs. An gel ine Snyder, having passed away last , July. Those who survive are: Husband, Andrew Moore; daughters, Mary J. Rummel, Medford; Minnie M. Clark, Central Point; sons, Stephen A. Moore and Joseph C. Moore, both of Medford; George R. Moore. Cen tral Point; Meuben E. Moore, Pros pect, Ore., and also 11 grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She was a member of the Christian church. Funeral services will be colducted from the Pert Funeral Home. Satur day at 2:30 p. m., Rev. W. R. Balrd officiating. Interment In the Cen tral Point cemetery. county, where he continued his re ligious and real estate work. A number of local people were call ed as witnesses in the case and there was considerable Interest here In the outcome. Shelley was taken to the penitentiary last Monday. His hope to spend Christmas outside the walls was blasted, when the court ruled that he should be confined at Salem pending a decision in his plea for new trial. The accusing daughter la now liv ing In southern California. The wife and 16 year old son are In Portland. Shelley waa fairly well-known nl this city and county and In 1929 started the Pitt View sub-division, upon which he erected a number of houses. Later he became legally In volved In this project. At one time, Shelley gave religious talks over the radio and waa more or less active In local political af fairs In a small way.
