Money at Courthouse The county clerk's office announced yesterday that a number of election board war rants for people who served on the Medford boards are at the office. Sev eral here did not call for their war rants after election. Find Trailer Saturday, state po lice found a home-made trailer, with an Indiana license, on the mountain south of Ashland. Officers also found the' receipt of registration for a Ford sedan with an Indiana license and an operator's license Issued to Ruth Sprague of East Columbus, Ind., and another Issued to Alva Sprague of the same address. The owner may obtain the receipts from the state police dis trict office here, they stated. Sheriff to Sell Truck At 3:30 o' clock next Friday afternoon, the sheriff will conduct a sale of the one and one-half ton truck taken over by that office when Richard Morton was arrested September 21. The sale will be conducted at the Hiram Meader residence at 128 North Central avenue, where Morton had stored the truck. Morton la now serv ing a term in the Oregon state penitentiary. Gaynor and Farrell At Craterian Today Janet Gaynor and Charles Farrell In "Teas of the Storm Country" make their bow at the Craterian theatre today. The film is adapted from the novel by Grace Miller White and dramatized by Rupert Hughes. The heroine Is the daughter of an old sea captain who decides she is getting too old to continue cruising around with him. They establish themselves In a. little cottage on the Maine coast, from which they are summarily eject ed by a crusty old millionaire who lays claim to the property. Tesa rescues a young man from drowning and then discovers that he Is the millionaire's son. The boy wins her reluctant admiration. How the captain Is freed of a mur der charge. Teas' daring rescue of the millionaire's daughter when she tries to drown herself on finding she Is going to have a fatherless baby, and the final surprise In the ending, are said to form a series of dramatlo moments. On his first venture out Into the world, he stumbles into an auc tion where the services of the unem ployed are being offered. He bids high when Miss Fleming mounts the block, and, at her request, when Miss Skip worth, her friend, an old actress who has seen better days, la offered. He gets them both.
