two yeara. Mrs. Vteva Saltmarsh will
serve as secretary. The club has been

when. Mrs. May Powell moved to Med
ford. Ten members and one visitor
were present. The next meeting will
be November 10, with Mrs, Laura
Taylor.
A load of lumber was hauled from
the Pursel sawmill on Tale creek to
the Watklns schoolhouse this week
Plans are being made to start build
ing a house near the schoolhouse
for Mrs. Ina Pursell, teacher. The
carpenter work will be done by Nel
son Pursel and Claud Medley, and
will he started soon.
