To Ship Dog The Grest Dane, a beautiful large dog belonging to Mrs, Aim J. Lowrey of Burllngame, which has been housed at the Jackson coun ty humane shelter for the past year, will be shipped next Thursday to Carmel Valley, Calif., to make Its home at the Parrott estate, accord ing to Mrs. Sidney Richardson. Shep herd, who gave an address on prohi bition Thursday night, which met with much applause from radio fans of the valley, will speak again Mon day evening from station KMED, choosing Oregon Laws as his subject. He will speak between 7;iB to 7;; o'clock and a very entertaining, as well as enlightening, address Is prom ised. Crowd Attends Show A large crowd attended the Rlvoll theater Thursday night, when the local Adrlenne shop presented Its annual fall style show, local girls acting as mannequins, A number of Medford residents, includ ing Mr. and Mrs. C. T. Steward, own ers of the Adrlenne stores, motored to Grants Pass to witness the show, reporting that they all considered it a real success. Accident Reported The automobile driven by Miss Inger Paulsen of Fres no, allf., turned over on the Crater Lake highway two miles this aide of the Medford entrance, according to word received from .there yesterday afternoon. The car turned completely over, and was not too badly damaged to drive. Miss Paulsen was accom panied by her cousin, Frederick Paul sen of Copenhagen, Denmark. Struck by Bar PaUy Randolph, 3. suffered minor injuries at 6:15 o'clock last evening, when he was struck down by the automobile drlren by Hans Meier, at the corner of Sixth and Front streets. The child ran in front of the automobile, according to Meier's report filed at the city police station. ' Studio Theater Has New Sound Device The State theater reopens today as the Studio theater with the lat est R. 0. A. Photophone sound equip ment. Walter H. Leverette. the new owner, announced yesterday that testa of the sound reproduction of Vie Studio have proved it better than In any theater anywhere. The new equipment has Improvements that have been added only during the last few months. New projection machines and i new screen have also been Installed The theater will have a small stago and .several rows of seats In the back have been raised to give a clear vision from every part of the house, A new curtain. In front of the screen and a marquee over Vie side walk will be installed during the next few days. The marquee Is be ing manufactured In Medford by the Standard Neon company. It will have the name of the theater and modernistic designs In five different colors. Mr. Leverette. who owns theaters In Grants Pass, Ore., and Yreka, Calif., will be In active charge of the Studio.
