Thomas at their home on South Riverside avenue. Miss Hazleton is Mr. Thomas' cousin. She is en route to her home from a trip to Alsska, and will visit Crater lake before leav ing southern Oregon. Registers Car Lylem Render, rep resentative of the Occidental Indem nity company of San Francisco, was among out-of-stste residents who registered cars at the out-of-state bureau on South Riverside yesterday. Another was F. A. Sturgess of Los Angeles, who stated he was a trav eling salesman. To Be Manager S. G. Mendenhall, until recently manager of the Fox Castle theater at Vancouver, Wash., will be manager of the Liberty thea ter at Broadway and Stark atreets In Portland, according to the Ore gonlan today. Mr. Mendenhall was formerly with the Fox theaters In Medford. a License Issued Roscoe Joseph Norton, 46, and Mary Elizabeth Adam aon, 59, both of Los Angeles, received a marriage license at the clerk's office here yesterday. Mr. Norton, a native of California, la an accountant. Ac cording to the records, this Is his third marriage, and her second. Guth rie of the forest service offices In Portland, and O. M. Butler, editor of the American Forest magazine and executive secretary of the American Forestry association of Washington. D. C, arrived here by train from the north today, to spend several days at Diamond lake and Crater lake. Mr. Butler stated that he might write seme articles about this section for the magazine which he edit. GHILDERS TO OBSERVE In anticipation of their 60th wed ding anniversary, which will be real ized December 11 of this year, Mr. and Mrs. 8. Chlldera of 831 Spencer street will celebrate with a family re vi nion at their home Sunday. The celebration has been planned for the early date because of the in ability of their eight children to be In Vie valley in December. They will be here Sunday and a large family dinner and other festivi ties are being arranged by Mr. and Mrs. Ch Uden, who will be hosts to their seven sons, one daughter and 34 grandchildren. Tho daughter, Mrs. Chlldera, San Francisco, and Clem Ohllders, Medford. The laughter, Mrs. Vidian Moran, Is living In Medford. Mr. and Mrs. Chlldera, w.ho are now B4 and 74 years of age, respect ively, were married in Sallna Olty, Cal., December 11, 1873. They have made their home In Medford for the past 46 years and have a host of friends who extend them congratulations. Radio Artists Play For Nandie's Dance atra this week will play for a dinner danca at Nandle't Grille tomorrow night, Thursday, according to T. B. Nandlt. This group of famous radio artist will be at Nandle'a from eight to twelve o'clock furnishing local danc ers with a varied program of popular music. .1 Book exchange at the senior high school will be open Thursday, Friday and Saturday, It haa been announced by Miss Myrna Barrett, librarian.
