Orange become familiar with this
bill.
Plans were completed for the
Orange picnic to 1 e held at Helman
baths, Sunday, Aug.-21 with a pic
nic lunch at 12:30. Grangers are In
vited to come and bring well filled
baskets, also bring service for their
family. Coffee and sugar will be fur
nished by the Oranga.
First meeting September will be

CRATER LAKE
CRATER LAKE NATIONAL PARK,
Ore. (Spl.) There Is a probability
an eight-mile unit of rim road will
be authorized for 1933 construction,
according to Horace M. Albright, di
rector of the national park service, at
Crater lake this week on a periodical
visit.
Present road work underway In the
park Includes a six-mile stretch from
the rim area to north entrance ran
ger station, near the Diamond lake
Junction, and -a shorter distance near
the east entrance ranger station,
part of a program covering several
years ln the construction of an en
tirely new road around the lake, aim
ilar to the highway leading from the
south and west entrances.
The rim road provides one of the
most popular drives ln the park and
covers a distance of 35 miles. Daily
guided motor drives aroun dthe lake,
leaving the Slnnot Memorial each
morning at 8:30, have attracted hun
dreds of visitors from all parts of
the world and nation.

building Is coming along very nicely
and will soon be an up-to-date store
