I Vigorous Campaign Against Democratic Repeal Plank Will Be Waged Hoover's Speech Is Satisfactory WASHINGTON, Aug. 10. (AP) pep ubl Jeans today mapped out a vig orous eastern campaign In support of their prohibition submission plank against the Democratic repealer. The tentative program called for a speech by President Hoover In Frank lin D. Roosevelt's own state of New York and another In New England, possibly Boston. Victory In the entire strategic sec tion was predicted by O, O. P. leaders as they scanned the acceptance speech Mr. Hoover will make tomor row night. To Senator Hebcrt of Rhode Island, an opponent of prohi bition and eastern campaign manager for the Republicans, President Hoo ver's much-awaited reference In that speech to prohibition Is "satisfacto ry." Hebert asked that the re ferine would "back the Republican resub mission plank." The tentative plans for the presi dent's eastern speeches, probably aft er mld-Beptember, mean, said Repub lican campaign managers, that they intend an aggressive drive in the re gion from which Democrats hoped their pledge for repeal would draw many votes, Hebert will be In direct charge of the eastern area. Helping him will be John Q. Tllson of Connecticut, former house Republican leader, and Jeremiah Mtlbank of New Jersey. Tll son will handle speakers and Mil bank money. Mr. Coolidge might be suscept ible to the pollen from common rag weed. A serum made with the pollen of the plant would be used. If numerous Injections did not ward off attacks, more serum would be called for until 'common ragweed could be approached without apprehension. - Giant ragweed causes the trouble for many. If so, a serum from giant ragweed. Or It might be a plant of the cocklebur family. A cocklebur serum would be needed and so on down the list. Some persons are sensitive to any number of pollen bearing plants, or even to feather, horse hair and car pets.
