Postpone Meeting Announcement has been made that the Joint meet ing of the Central Point, Medford and Ashland Women's Missionary societies of the First Christian church has ' been postponed. FLAGS WILL FLY FROM COURT HOUSE STAFFS The new courthouse, on national holidays and other occasions, will be gay with American flags, the county court announced. They have ordered 15 flags, which they were enabled to purchase at a bargain. There will be economy In the display of the na tional colors, when occasions demand. The emblem will fly from the main flagpole, and others on the edifice, and will be properly draped over the entrances. The response regarding jars Is still far below expectations of the wom en's division of the relief program, headed by Mrs. A. E. Reaines, and all persons in the valley, regardless of how small the amount they have to give, are urged to notify Mrs. Sexton of their contributions at once. The need Is a great one and time of the utmost importance, the women pointed out today. Any farmer or other Individual with surplus fruits or vegetables Is asked to contribute them now to aid the avoidance of a future condition, which will make much greater demands of charity if provision is not made to feed the families of the unemployed this win ter.
