George Hartley has a fine lot of cantaloupes and other garden prod uce this year, and will run his road side stand again. Mrs. Lonzo Drake of East Eden, who died Saturday, was for many years a resident of Talent, where she and her husband owned six acres of garden land. Mrs. Drake was one of the first mall carriers when the rail road first went through the town of Talent and carried- the mall from the postofflce to the train. She was a woman of great energy and one of the best of neighbors a true friend and a kind wife and mother. Her hus band and children have the sym pathy of their acquaintances.
